This week has been super slow but still a good one. We're mostly just trying to survive this INTENSE, HUMID, DEATHLY HEAT!!!! I might literally melt into an Hermana Rice puddle. Anywho, here is this weeks Top 5:)

1.CLAY: Clay is an investigator that the Hermanas have been working with for about a month and he is getting baptized on the 18th! So thats coming up fast. He is an older guy that looks like santa claus and is funny and slightly awkward. He is awesome! He calls Hermana Moses "Velma" and he calls me "Snow White" haha. It has been so busy getting everything ready for his baptism. He is golden though and i'm super excited for him!

2. MAKEOVER MOSES: So my amazing companion Hermana Moses is the most low maintenance plain Jane girl I've ever met. Which is weird cause she also has one of the most colorful and bright personalities I've ever seen. So it doesnt match. Well, after promising bucket loads of ice cream, she agreed to let me makeover her for Zone Conference this friday. I am sooooooo excited! Anyone who knows me well should know how over the moon happy this makes me. I even got her to chop her hair off to a pixie cut and dye it a light coppery red. We have an appt. for that tomorrow! So yep i'll definitely send pics!

3. PRIMARY: We got to teach primary again and i LOVED it! We taught the 6 year olds first hour and the 10 year olds the second. The 6 year olds were soooo hard! They wouldn't sit still or listen or stop yelling. Finally we had half of then doing my hair and the other half helping Hermana Moses draw a missionary story on the chalk board. I guess it worked... Man, if those little guys weren't so cute they would be in huge trouble! The 10 year olds were better. We were asked to teach last minute so we read the lesson title like 2 min. before class. Luckily it was on the parable of the talents so we know it well. At first the class was rotten but then we decided to pretend that we didn't know the story and had them teach it to us. Then i pulled out a bunch of pesos that i happened to have with me from Mexico and used them as an object lesson. That went really well but we finished too early so Hermana Moses decides to share her talents and make origami animals for the class. They loved that! So they got to go home with pesos and origami animals i don't think its too bold to say that that lesson will go down in history :P

4.FOOD: So everyone knows that i am super picky and it has been a challenge for me out here but i have good news. Washington has amazing cooks! Every meal that i have eaten has been soooooo good!!!! I love Washington so much and i am so grateful that i haven't had to choke down nastiness. I hope this doesnt jinx me....Nah i think i'm safe.

5. TRACTING: Oh my lanta we have been tracting soooo much!! We are desperate for new investigators and so we have been tracting and tracting and tracting. Yesterday we tract for 4 hours straight!! It was crazy and i definitely sweat buckets! We met a lot of interesting and super sweet people and we met a bible basher which was super fun. It has been rough but i have totally gotten over whatever remnant of fear i had for knocking so yay! But yeah, mucho tracting here in Washington.

So yep that was my weak. It was great! I sure do love being a missionary! It is seriously the bestest thing in the whole wide world!!!!! Alrighty well I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU ALL!!!!! Until next time....xoxoxoxoxo
Hermana Rice
Here's me and Smootie with Sis. Pool on my last day in Mt. P. Love them both!

Heres us on the way to Transfers. In the middle is Mikayla, her mom took us to transfer meeting.
Riverside is part of our area so obviously this pic is necessary. Live Long and Prosper ya'll!

Sometimes Hermana Moses forgets to take her meds and things get...interesting. Here she decided that she was a gargoyle. I love this crazy companion of mine!

So yeah thats pretty much all the pics i have of Wahington but ill totes send more next week!
