MAMASITA

My trip here was awesome. After I went through security and got to the gate, there was twenty four other missionaries! So. cool. On the plane I sat next to Elder Watts who is also going to Des Moines. He was very chatty but super nice. Lemme just say Mexico is amazing! we are legit in the super ghetto but its still beautiful in its own way. It is hot here! and  the campus is gorgeous! Its the cleanest place ive ever been besides the temple. Everything is green and theres these parrots flying around...its just amazing. i absolutely love it here!!!

Spanish is a struggle. But im starting to get the hang of it. On the second day here we had to teach an investigator completely in Spanish! It was so hard but somehow me and my companion did it. and weve taught him in spanish every day since then. The other struggle is the food here. Its not as bad as I thought but its still nothing like your cooking. Im trying new things so thats good. They have this spicy powder stuff that they put on fruit and its really good.Breakfast is the worst but you know how I am with breakfast.Its all good. 

My companion is awesome! Her name is Hermana Clark. She is from Southern California. She reminds me of a mix of Ali Lambert and Talyn:) So we get along really well and we both struggle with spanish but i love her tons. She is also going to Des Moines. We have a lot of adventures together. The other day we were in the bathroom and all the sudden her toilet starts leaking tons of water from the base of it. It overflows into my stall and Im trying to get out to help her but my lock got stuck...it was crazy. My district is also aweome. We have four boys and four girls. We all get along well too and we crack eachother up constantly. Its super fun.
